SCHOOL VOLUNTEER    -  COMMUNITY COACH

 

Instructions: After completing the renewal application, please upload a copy of your state-issued ID and the completed background form (received from your school's athletic director) in the attachment options. 

 

 

 QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Must be an existing Community Coach for the 2023/2024 school year who possesses advanced knowledge of a certain sport or program based on previous participation or advanced coaching experience.

 

The Paulding County School District reserves the right to accept alternatives to some of the above requirements.   


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

• Ability to support the Head Coach of the program
• Ability to be an active member of the Athletic Staff
• Build Teamwork/Leadership capacity in student athletes
• Comply with GHSA rules and regulations
• Ability to assist in the functioning of a successful program
• Provide instruction; assess and encourage student progress; manage the learning environment; comply with: state and system level regulations and policies; comply with the rules of the Professional Standards and Commission code of ethics for educators; other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or immediate supervisor.
