Paulding County School District is looking for substitute teachers to help provide our students with quality instruction in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

Qualifications:
- Be 18 years of age (21 years of age to substitute teach at high schools)
- High school diploma or GED (official transcripts are required as proof of the highest level of education)
- Completion of the RESA Substitute/Paraprofessional/Supply Teacher Training
The Paulding County School District reserves the right to accept alternatives to some of the above requirements
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide appropriate instruction based on lesson plans provided by the teacher.
- Assist all students in achieving academic standards by following performance and behavior expectations in the classroom.
- Support students with encouragement.
- Use time efficiently.
- Maintain a safe physical setting for instruction.
- Adhere to appropriate safety procedures.
- Follow federal, state and local laws, policies and procedures.
Salary: $150 per day- Substitute / $200 per day- Certified Supply (someone who holds a Georgia Teaching Certificate)
