Position Title: Student Services Records Manager

Salary Schedule: PCSD Classified

Department: Student Services

Reports To: Executive Director of Student Services

Work Schedule: Annual/8 hours per day

Grade/Level:  C2608

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Primary Function:   Manages and files ESEP records.  Ability to maintain information in a confidential manner.  Demonstrated proficiency in all components of ESEP procedures.  Ability to multi-task.  Knowledge of Records Management.

Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard

Constant interruptions

Hearing and speaking to exchange information in person and on the telephone

 

Seeing to read a variety of materials

 

Sitting for extended periods of time

 

Bending at the waist, kneeling, or crouching to file materials

 

Qualifications:

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED

Good written and oral communication

Knowledge of record-keeping and filing techniques

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Good organizational skills

The Board of Education and the Superintendent may accept alternatives to some of the above requirements.


Essential Functions:

 

Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance

 

Handles confidential information and sensitive situations with discretion

 

Processes records, including incoming records, records requests, etc.

 

Manages and files ESEP records

 

Maintains ESEP student records database

 

Maintains 504 plans and RTI plans

 

Adheres to legal statutes, organizational rules, and community standards

 

Assists with students' Medicaid records

 

Process documents for Medicaid compliance and billing

 

Assist with the collection of Medicaid, FFS and ACE data files

 

Coordinate destruction of records

 

Functions as a team member

 

Maintains successful working relationship with co-workers

 

Uses time efficiently and works without constant direction

 

Seeks to improve skills and knowledge

 

Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or designee

 


Salary Schedule
